Dr Nicola Acevedo is a Neuroscientist and Research Fellow with project management experience in the design and execution of clinical trials for neurological and psychiatric conditions. Her work spans pharmacological, psychotherapy, neurostimulation, and psychedelic interventions, with a strong focus on translating research into real-world practice. Nicola brings broad and specialised expertise across neuroscience, psychiatry, neuroimaging, neurocognition, social sciences, and lived experience research. She is recognised as an emerging leader in mental health, holding leadership, advisory, and mentoring roles across research and clinical sectors. Her interdisciplinary work is grounded in a person-centred, personalised, integrative, and biopsychosocial approach. Nicola has delivered invited talks at leading institutions including Oxford and Harvard Universities, the Statewide Mental Health Services inTasmania, and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.Nicola is driven by developing innovative and impactful solutions that are informed by both rigorous science and human experience.
